By accessing and using UptimeChecker, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
UptimeChecker provides uptime monitoring services that:
- Monitor HTTP/HTTPS endpoints at specified intervals
- Send notifications when services go down or recover
- Track service status and response times
- Provide dashboard analytics and reporting
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Notifying us of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for illegal purposes
- Monitor services you don't own or have permission to monitor
- Attempt to overwhelm or abuse our infrastructure
- Reverse engineer or copy our service
- Share your account with others
- Use the service to attack or harm other systems
5. Subscription Plans
Free Plan: Limited to 3 monitored services
Paid Plans: Billed monthly or annually via Stripe
- Subscriptions renew automatically
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
6. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or uninterrupted service
- Error-free operation
- Specific response times for monitoring checks
- Delivery of all notifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
UptimeChecker is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:
- Missed notifications or monitoring failures
- Downtime of your services
- Data loss or service interruptions
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account anytime from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
